I have always heard paint your feelings. I am mostly happy and it is reflected in my paintings. May fourth of this year I lost my sweet Daddy. He was 95 years old. He still had his driver's license, still lived in his home with his wife of 62 years (my Mom). I was a Daddy's girl to the max. I will always miss him and cherish the memories we had. This painting: "Out of Darkness" is watercolor on yupo paper. It conveys the somber lost feelings of losing someone you love. The light piercing through the darkness is the hope I have of not remaining here in this dark place and time.

Golden Gate Bridge
Always wanted to see California and the famous icon "The Golden Gate Bridge". Now I know why everyone wants to live there. Its beauty is just stunning. The climate is perfect for people and growing things. I can't wait to go back and see more! This is a 9 x 12 watercolor on 300# paper using MaimeriBlu paints.
