Sip of Sonoma

The coolness of a wine cellar after 107 degrees of dry heat in Sonoma, California is a surreal experience. Especially surreal for a girl from the deep south! Our heat comes with humidity to match!  These beautiful old doors are the entrance to the Beringer wine cellar. Everywhere I looked was just picturesque! I named this painting "Sip of Sonoma" This is a 20 x 14 watercolor on cold pressed paper using MaimeriBlu paints.

Yaya's Baybays

My friend Nola had a birthday coming. We were just sitting down looking at some pictures. I saw a pic of her sweet grandchildren marching on the beach and knew I couldn't wait to paint them for her. It was such a pleasure to paint and she was just about speechless. This painting is called "Yaya's Baybays". Painted with MaimeriBlu paints on watercolor paper.

The Eyes Have It

The eyes of this big cat are just as golden as his fur and the afternoon sunlight in Africa. Leopards are uniquely beautiful wildlife, and their spots can easily hide them in the trees and surrounding nature. Wish this wildcat was as tame as a kitten!
This original painting was painted with  Daler-Rowney FW Acrylic Inks on 140# watercolor paper size 9 X 12.

Baby it's Cold!

Named this painting "Baby it's Cold". Fat, fluffy, and the definition of RED!  If you spy a cardinal in the drab surroundings of winter, you will be sure to stop and stare. This is a MaimeriBlu watercolors on 140# cold pressed paper, using the technique of splattering and salt.
