How many times do we pass these as we step out onto the beach? This particular morning the shadows caught my eye and I just had to tell a story with my watercolors. I know the shadows are not really purple and blue, but I could see those colors. This lifesaver is old and tearing in places but it would still work in a pinch. Painted with MaimeriBlu paints on watercolor paper.

Found this old boat just across the bridge to Beaufort, NC. I can only imagine the conversations in this boat, especially the silent ones! A quiet morning for contemplating. Painted this sweet boat with MaimeriBlu watercolors.
